Getting Started

You’ll need a projector , an Android 5.0 player and a DisplayMapper license

DisplayMapper works with any device running Android 5.0 (Lollipop)

Recommended hardware for DisplayMapper:

  • An 5.0+ Android Player. We suggest a Rikomagic MK68 Octocore Android 5.1, 2GB RAM with 16GB Flash memory
  • Microsoft HD3000 USB Webcam (optional)
  • Prolific USB to RS232: PL2303 HX Rev D lead (optional)
  • Startech DB9 Serial null modem / RS232 adaptor (use only if required with your RS232 configuration. Check projector user manuals)

Installing the app

  • Create an account on DisplayMapper.com
  • Open DisplayMapper
  • Connect USB devices, accept permissions and restart device
  • Your device will display a unique identifier code
  • Leave your device online

Taking control and Syncing your device

  • Login to your dashboard on DisplayMapper.com
  • Select “Add Player” if not prompted
  • Enter unique identifier code. Your device will now be paired to DisplayMapper.com
  • Use the content manager to add new media and draw a mapping template
  • Map your content
